Rechovot & Packing
The end of our trip approaches. We continued south along the coast back to Rechovot where we spent the afternoon packing for the trip home.
Mini Israel
In the late afternoon, we ate at a marvelous restaurant where we enjoyed chicken and couscous prepared in a Moroccan tagine. Afterwards, we toured Mini Israel, a 13-acre theme park that displays hundreds of models that are exact copies of sites, buildings and landscapes from around the country. The models are built at a scale of 1:25, and are of architectural, historical, religious, archeological and social importance. Colorful flowers, miniature vegetation, bonsai trees, and thousands of figures that are 7 cm tall surround them. This was a lovely way to wrap up our trip with a review of all the locations we had explored throughout the country on our adventure.
